<br />Mr. Corradino is the President and CEO of The Corradino Group, Inc., where he oversees the company's urban planning operations. These operations provide local governments with land use, transportation, management, and staffing services. Mr. Corradino and his firm specialize in developing strategic and comprehensive plans and land development regulations related to land use. Corradino's approach to transportation focuses on multimodal planning and comprehensive master plans that incorporate various modes of transport, including automobiles, transit systems, bicycles, and pedestrian pathways. From a management and staffing perspective, Mr. Corradino and his firm provide staffing solutions at all levels of the organization, ranging from the Director of the Development Services Department to the Zoning Administrator.
<br />With over 30 years of experience, he has consistently advocated for integrating transportation planning and land use. He has closely collaborated with local governments to preserve their communities' unique character while enhancing residents' quality of life. This work involves developing and refining comprehensive plans, zoning codes, and transportation master plans. His efforts have provided valuable services to various cities, counties, planning organizations, and other agencies. Through this work, he has built a strong reputation within individual communities. Joe Corradino deeply understands what it takes to succeed in this field, where local municipalities make land use decisions while larger governments oversee transportation. He has served in government for nearly two decades as an appointed and elected official, and currently holds the position of Mayor of Pinecrest. Few consultants possess this unique perspective.
<br />Mr. Corradino has been honored with six awards from the American Planning Association. He previously served as the Chairman of the Village of Pinecrest Planning Board and is currently the Mayor. He has also been involved with the Miami-Dade County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), the Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC), and the Development Permitting Advisory Committee (DPAC). Additionally, he served as the Chairman of the Gold Coast Chapter of the American Planning Association. As a planning consultant, he has worked with various municipalities, including Homestead, Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, South Miami, Miami, Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles Beach, Doral, Miami Gardens, and Hialeah.

<br />Miami-Dade County TPO, SMART Plan Analysis of the North Corridor, Miami, FL | Principal-in-Charge - Corradino was solely responsible for analyzing the North Corridor, conducting system-wide modeling and STOPS modeling, as well as the overall financial analysis. The SMART Plan aims to advance a program of rapid transit and supporting projects across six corridors to address mobility needs. Additionally, a Bus Express Rapid Transit (BERT) network is planned. Implementing the SMART Plan requires identifying the goals and priorities of the Corridor communities that will support and ultimately fund the services, assessing existing conditions, and analyzing future conditions. This work includes a thorough examination of funding mechanisms to develop effective implementation strategies.
