His background in public involvement allows explanation of engineering needs in layman’s terms. He was Project Manager for the 11-mile I-465 (west leg) reconstruction project in Indianapolis, which included added travel lanes and the reconfiguration of eight urban interchanges.DAVID CLEVELAND, PE, PTOE <br />VICE PRESIDENT, <br />TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERINGEXPERIENCE <br />I-69 Section 4 from US 231 to SR 37; Greene and Monroe Counties, Indiana - Assisted with the Kitchen Table Meetings. He met with property owners before field work affected the owners’ property. Cleveland discussed the project and let property owners know what to expect through the project. <br />I-65/I-70 North Split; Indianapolis, Indiana - Managed the traffic modeling component of this enormous project in downtown Indianapolis. The traffic projections were very important on this project. David oversaw all capacity analysis and numbers of lanes for all thru movements and ramps. He completed the FHWA required Interstate Access Document (IAD). He participated in the NEPA and design meetings. <br />I-465 Northwest Leg; Indianapolis, Indiana - Manages the traffic modeling component of this large project in northwest Indianapolis. The traffic projections are very important on this project. He participates in the NEPA and design meetings. <br />I-65 at SR 267 Interchange Modification; Whitestown, Indiana - Managed the traffic modeling, environmental services (Environmental Assessment and permitting) and prepared the Interstate Access Document (IAD). The traffic modeling on this project lead to the addition of a new I-65 interchange at Boone CR 550S. This project included the NEPA document, permitting and IAD for both interchanges. <br />INDOT Greenfield District On-call Scoping - Managed the preparation of the Engineer Reports which include planning, capacity analysis, safety analysis and other items as required.
