WZA will review various options available to achieve the desired goal. Alternate systems and technologies will be <br />discussed, including on-site power generation, energy efficient lighting, etc. <br />Task 7 – Schematic Designs <br />Based on the review of the existing condition, staff questionnaire and interviews, space program, LEED goals, and project <br />budget, WZA will prepare schematic design drawings for the project. These drawings will provide a concept for the project. <br />Task 8 – Public Outreach <br />WZA will prepare renderings and material boards and present the project to the public for input and to build consensus for <br />the project moving forward. <br />Task 9 – Outline Specifications <br />WZA will prepare outline specifications for major materials and services to be provided as part of the project. The Outline <br />specifications will set minimum quality standards <br />Task 10 – Design Development and Construction Documents <br />WZA will incorporate the Site Survey, Geotechnical Report, Site Masterplan Schematic Design Drawings, Outline <br />Specification, and all supporting criteria to develop the Project Construction and Bid Documents. <br />WZA will submit the drawings and specification submittals to the City staff at 30%, 60%, 90% and 100% Construction <br />Document levels for review and approval. <br />Task 11 – Project Cost Estimating <br />WZA will prepare a probable budget estimate for the project. Probable budget estimate will provide the City with a <br />breakdown of costs for various items and budgetary allowances for hard and soft costs. <br />WZA will assist the City in project phasing preparing CIP budgets for site and project development over multiple years, if <br />necessary. <br />Task 12 – Permitting <br />WZA will submit for and obtain all necessary permits, including but not limited to Building Department, Miami Dade <br />County DERM, SFWMD, FDEP, etc. Depending on the scope of the project, other approvals may also be required. <br />Task 13 – Post Design Support <br />WZA will provide technical support to the City during the bid and award phase, during the bidder evaluation process, and <br />after the successful Contractor has been selected, and through the final completion of the project. <br />WZA will provide full construction administration services throughout the construction phase by attending regularly <br />scheduled meetings, review on-site construction, coordinate with Owner’s Fixtures, Furnishings, and Equipment suppliers <br />and the Contractor. <br />WZA will provide Construction Management Services, including QA/ QC testing, inspections services, and RPR services to <br />ensure that the projects meet the quality standards specified and that they are built within the designated schedule and project <br />budget. <br />Walters Zackria Associates, PLLC | RFQ # 26-07-01 | Page 131
