Facilities house <br />multiple functions including Miami-Dade Police Department and Miami- <br />Dade Parks and Recreation Department. <br />Chrome Hearts Building 40-Year Recertification, Miami, Florida <br />40-Year Certification process based on the Miami-Dade County established <br />Ordinance criteria. Scope includes assessment and evaluation of two-story <br />building followed by the issuance of detailed findings reports and repair <br />recommendations. 5,496 sf <br />Miami-Dade County Joseph Caleb Auditorium, Miami, Florida <br />Renovation of 962-seat auditorium including replacement of all windows <br />and storefront systems. Project includes raising the floor in front of house, <br />modifying areas and restrooms for ADA compliance, relocating sound <br />control platform, and addition of storage rooms. Structural design includes <br />verifying lateral stability of ceiling and integrating lateral bracing, supports <br />for new acoustical panels, and a new entry canopy structure. Design is <br />targeting LEED certification. $5 million <br />City of Miami Fire Training Center Restroom Remodel, Miami, Florida <br />Remodeled existing restrooms and added new women’s restroom with <br />lockers and showers on the sixth floor. Men’s restroom remodel included <br />adding additional lockers and showers to increase capacity. Removed <br />existing wall AC units from both restrooms. Project included a new VRS <br />AC system with one CU to serve the new women’s restroom and men’s <br />restroom with several AHU. Replaced toilet exhaust fan serving existing <br />women’s restroom. $200,000 / 10,000 sf <br />The Shops at Merrick Park Space Conversion, Coral Gables, Florida <br />Conversion of existing 2nd floor space to provide 4 individual shell spaces <br />for future retail tenants: Yeti, Vineyard Vines, Marine Layer, and New <br />Balance.
