<br />An experienced landscape architect and dedicated project manager, Kelli Schueler provides planning, design and project management services for a wide variety of project types through all phases of the development process. Her knowledge of the local environment, innovative technologies and sustainable best practices is combined with a creative approach that is detail oriented, ensuring designs are implemented both efficiently and accurately. Kelli has a wide range of project experience, but is most motivated by the opportunity to create special moments within the urban environment where hardscape and architectural elements are thoughtfully combined with green space to create impactful places of respite and community within the urban core.
<br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Police Headquarters, Fort Lauderdale, FL: Landscape Architect. As subconsultant, KEITH assisted with the CEI on this project, which included demolition of existing buildings and design/construction of a new police headquarters. The new headquarters, built in phases; Phase I began with the parking garage, firing range, and perimeter landscape buffers to neighboring residents. Phase II included initial site development, SW 13th Ave extending up to the existing fleet maintenance facility, restriping existing surface parking, and replacement of the radio tower. Phase III included demolition of outparcel buildings and construction of the new facility, including central plant. Lastly, demolition of the old facility and a portion of the fleet maintenance facility, followed by final site development, including extension of SW 13th Ave to Broward Blvd, creation of a linear park along Broward Blvd, and removal of remaining surface parking and outparcel buildings. The project provided the City of Fort Lauderdale with a state-of-the-art public safety headquarters to better serve the community.
<br />PBC Medical Examiners Office Expansion, West Palm Beach, FL: Landscape Architect. KEITH, as subconsultant, is assisting the Client with a KEITH Campus/KEITH Life project including the redevelopment and expansion of the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office Building. The project involves the construction of a 10,000-SF administrative building, conversion of the existing 5,815-SF administrative building into morgue space, and a new 100-space parking garage. KEITH provides civil engineering, survey, SUE, landscape architecture, and construction administration services to the Client. The KEITH Team is assisting the Client in planning and zoning, boundary and topographic survey, horizontal designation and location services, SUE conditions, utility mapping, preliminary civil engineering design plans, construction documents including paving, grading and drainage plans, pavement marking and signing plans, water distribution and sanitary sewer plans, erosion control plans, engineering permitting, conceptual landscape plans, tree inventory and appraisal by in-house certified arborist, landscape construction documents, and construction observation, inspections, and final certification.
<br />Live! Pompano - Lake Parcel, Pompano Beach, FL: Landscape Architect. KEITH, as subconsultant, assisted the Client with professional, multi-disciplinary civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture services for the development of a multi-family residential project including eleven condominium buildings housing 514 units. KEITH assisted the Client with comprehensive due diligence services to advance the review and analysis of stormwater and site grading, water and sewer, CPTED plan and narrative, civil schematic design plans, civil design development, landscape schematic design, permitting coordination and site plan finalization and processing.
