<br />FDOT District 6, Districtwide Traffic Operations Studies Consultant – Travel Time Validation Analysis
<br />Omar conducted data collection tasks for this project effort, which involved performing a validation of travel time
<br />accuracy of information published on Dynamic Message Signs through the FLATIS system. Travel time and delay
<br />data was collected across 24 Travel Time Links using Miovision Scout equipment via MAC address capture. Field-
<br />collected data was compared to SunGuide travel time data in 15-minute intervals for peak, off-peak, accident,
<br />and rain conditions for AM and PM periods, and then compared to travel time ranges to determine overestimated,
<br />underestimated, or matching travel time. Recommendations were subsequently developed on a segment-by-
<br />segment basis.

<br />FDOT District 4, Districtwide Traffic Operations Data Collection
<br />Omar is performing data collection activities for this contract, in which HBC is conducting routine traffic data
<br />collection activities for FDOT District 4 on a Task Work Order (TWO) basis. The project tasks include collecting
<br />Turning Movement Counts (TMCs), spot speed and speed profile data, volume and classification counts, pedestrian
<br />and bicycle data, and travel time and delay data, as well as assisting the District with miscellaneous data collection
<br />and traffic studies.

<br />Palm Beach County (PBC), Cherry Rd from Military Trail to Quail Dr Roadway, Sidewalk, and Pedestrian
<br />Lighting Improvements LAP Project
<br />This project involves the construction of an 8’ wide sidewalk along the north side of Cherry Road from N. Military
<br />Trail to a point 120’ west of Quail Drive. Additionally, a 6’ wide sidewalk will be constructed on the south side of
<br />Cherry Road, covering the same stretch from N. Military Trail to Quail Road, with the exception of the segment that
<br />crosses Bridge No. 934229. The scope also includes Milling and Resurfacing (M&R), widening, and the installation
<br />of appropriate Signing and Pavement Markings (S&PMs) to better accommodate current traffic volumes and
<br />improve overall traffic flow. Pedestrian-scale lighting and landscaping will be installed along the sidewalks and
<br />in key areas of the roadway. Omar was the Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) inspector responsible
<br />for daily reports, photo documentation, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
<br />(SWPPP) checks, biweekly meetings, and gathering onsite information to aid with any change orders and Requests
<br />for Information (RFIs).

<br />Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Inspector Aide overseeing the improvements under this contract,
<br />which consist of, but are not limited to, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) (standard, special, traffic control officer),
<br />erosion control (sediment barrier, inlet protection), concrete (removal, gravity wall, curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways),
<br />asphalt (milling, base, Superpave, friction course), lighting (luminaires), pavement markings (detectable, painted),
<br />signalization (signal cable, aluminum pole, signal auxiliaries, vehicular signal and detection, pedestrian signal and
<br />detection, loop detector, loop assembly), Signing and Pavement Marking (S&PM) (single-post, raised, painted,
<br />thermoplastic, bike lane, sharrow), traffic monitoring (sensor, loop, cabinet), conduit, pull/splice box, and utility
<br />adjustments (manhole, valve meter box) along SR-804/Boynton Beach Blvd from NW 3rd St to US-1/Federal Hwy,
