<br />Orlando is a Florida-licensed professional electrical engineer with about
<br />20 years of experience and 10 years with HBC, specializing in roadway and
<br />pedestrian lighting, photometric design, and electrical systems for public

<br />As Senior Electrical Engineer, Orlando led the design of replacement
<br />electrical shore-tie pedestals and pier lighting using marine-grade louvered
<br />concrete bollards with Turtle Safe-Certified wildlife lighting fixtures for water
<br />and salt resistance and environmental compliance. He directed adjustments
<br />to existing electrical panels to meet the new seawall elevation, evaluated the
<br />service point and control panel for load capacity, wire sizing, and voltage drop,
<br />and ensured compliance with NFPA 303 and NEC Article 555 for the seawall
<br />replacement spanning 500 feet west from the Andrews Avenue Bridge.

<br />Town of Davie, Nova Dr Roadway Improvements Project Phase 2
<br />Orlando led the roadway lighting system design, Florida Power & Light (FPL)
<br />power service coordination, and compliance with FDOT and Broward County
<br />standards for improvements along Nova Drive. The project upgrades the
<br />roadway from two to three lanes with medians and left-turn lanes, roadway
<br />widening and reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, ADA-compliant
<br />sidewalks, bike lanes, drainage, and new conventional LED street lighting
<br />on FPL service, along with signalized golf cart and pedestrian crossings,
<br />demonstrating complete streets and municipal lighting design.
