This project involved <br />retrofitting existing light poles with Light-Emitting Diode (LED) luminaires to replace the outdated High-Pressure <br />Sodium (HPS) luminaires and adding new light poles with LED and FPL luminaires at strategic locations to meet <br />the standards for roadway and pedestrian lighting. The Lighting Design Analysis was performed utilizing AGi32 <br />software and photometric calculations, and included horizontal and vertical illuminance calculations. <br />Location: Palm Beach County, FL. This project <br />entailed roadway widening, Milling and Resurfacing (M&R), new sidewalks, Signing and Pavement Marking (S&PM), <br />new signal mast arms, pedestrian signal upgrades, roadway lighting, and pedestrian lighting. <br />Location: Broward County, FL. Javier developed lighting plans and photometric analyses to replace existing High-Pressure Sodium <br />(HPS) systems with LED luminaires, in accordance with GMX and FDOT standards. He coordinated with utility <br />providers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate lighting improvements with existing roadway infrastructure, <br />ensuring constructability and system compatibility.
