HBC Engineering Company | 43 <br />Civil Engineering Services Trip Generation Reviews <br />City of Miami <br />HBC is currently serving as an extension of the City of Miami staff, providing <br />civil engineering support focused on Traffic Impact Study and trip generation <br />review services. In this ongoing role, HBC delivers technical expertise to <br />assist the City in evaluating development proposals and ensuring that <br />transportation impacts are properly analyzed, documented, and mitigated in <br />accordance with local regulations and industry standards. <br />The scope of services includes detailed review of Traffic Impact Studies <br />and trip generation memorandums submitted by private developers. <br />HBC evaluates trip generation calculations using current Institute of <br />Transportation Engineers data and verifies that assumptions regarding trip <br />distribution and assignment are reasonable and supported by accepted <br />methodologies. Existing and future traffic conditions are reviewed to <br />confirm that projected volumes, capacity analyses, and level of service <br />determinations are accurate and defensible. <br />HBC also reviews parking demand projections and on-site operational <br />characteristics to ensure consistency with municipal code requirements and <br />anticipated land use intensity. Site circulation plans are evaluated to confirm <br />safe and efficient vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle movements within <br />proposed developments.
