<br />Alexander specializes in roadway design, signalization, and transportation
<br />infrastructure improvements that support safe, multimodal mobility. He
<br />has contributed to projects for FDOT Districts 4 and 6, Miami-Dade County
<br />Department of Transportation and Public Works (MDC-DTPW), the City of
<br />Florida City, and the City of Riviera Beach, including roadway reconstruction,

<br />As Engineering Technician, Alexander performs roadway design, signal
<br />design, and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCPs) for the reconstruction
<br />of NE 2nd Avenue, which includes replacement of the existing drainage
<br />system, replacement of mast arms at three signalized intersections, two new
<br />midblock crossings, and an enhanced pedestrian signal. His roadway tasks
<br />include proposed horizontal and vertical alignment, side-street connections,
<br />back-of-sidewalk profiles, and grading plans, with intersection improvements
<br />analyzed against existing sidewalk constraints and aboveground and
<br />underground utilities to keep the signal system operational throughout
<br />construction.

<br />As Engineering Technician, Alexander supported the design of a proposed
<br />sidewalk improving pedestrian connectivity between three intersections
<br />and designed three shared-use paths, including a one-mile connection to
<br />an existing path, a serpentine path beneath the I-595 off-ramp to Riverland
<br />Woods Park, and a 1.5-mile canal-side path with a midblock crossing and
<br />rectangular rapid-flashing beacon. He also contributed to minor signalization
<br />improvements addressing impacted ADA curb ramps and crossings, along
<br />with plans development.
