Technical Approach <br />April 20, 2015 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Our skilled cast -in -place concrete crews will erect the required formwork and shoring with assistance from <br />our barge crew to place the concrete and reinforcing to the lines and grades required. As the bridge concrete <br />deck, barrier walls and sidewalks are constructed they will be sealed and finished per the specifications. <br />The RISE retaining walls will be erected and connected as necessary through the construction process. <br />We are fully cognizant of the barge scour and 1 -foot minimum clearances required. While challenging, <br />through careful planning and management practices we believe these to be manageable tasks. We do not <br />intend to violate the permit provisions or compliance requirements. In our vast experience SFI has <br />successfully produced numerous finished Projects under similar constraints and are confident that our <br />intended methodology will meet this Project's requirements and exceed the Owner's expectations. <br />Careful coordination and timing will be required for deliveries to minimize the impact to the surrounding <br />community and the public. Be assured, our methodology and management practices will accomplish tlus <br />Project's goals on budget and ahead of schedule. Additionally, construction operations are planned and -,vill <br />be conducted to assure the safety= and enjoyment to the public accessing the new pedestrian bridge. <br />After the successful completion of all project tasks SFI anticipates final inspection and acceptance of the <br />entirety of the Works. Allotting in our schedule for a "punch -list period" to address any minor issues that <br />may need attention. <br />In closing we look forward to working with the City of Sunny Isles Beach on the opening of this ambitious <br />public use project.
