As mentioned above, the soil mixing operation with cure time will take about four weeks. <br />The drilled shaft work, which encompasses 21 shafts at six different piers, is scheduled for a total of 11 <br />weeks. The initial two weeks will involve installing and testing the first method shaft. The remaining nine <br />weeks will be spent doing 1 pier /wk with moving access 1/2 pier /wk to set up for the drilling. <br />Schedule Management Narrative <br />Open, continuous communication and teamwork will be a priority for everyone involved with this project. <br />Project Director Frank DiGilio and Project Manager Nick Sosa will spearhead the communication efforts <br />through regular meetings throughout every stage. Nick and Frank are experienced liaisons between team <br />members and clients, subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders. Our goal is to be invited to return <br />for additional work with the City by building positive, long- lasting relationships. As proven by our work on <br />previous projects (citied in the references), we are dedicated to this goal. <br />As part of our strategy and approach, we will first work with the City to identify the goals for the project <br />and to commit and communicate to all parties. As the project progresses, regular meetings will be held <br />to strengthen team building and relationships, and to measure our progress towards achieving the goals <br />outlined by the team. This commitment by all members of the team is the first step in our approach and has <br />proven to be a key attribute of success on many projects. <br />Our Schedule Control Methods Result in Successful Project Delivery <br />Over the years, we have developed, incorporated and implemented industry - leading procedures, best <br />practices and controls for developing, monitoring and maintaining all vital components of a project. <br />Through our experiences, we have continued to adapt and improve these processes to meet our clients' <br />needs and requirements.
