Project Director — Frank DiGilio <br />Simply put, there is no other individual in the Kiewit organization who <br />is better suited to be your Project Director for the Construction of the <br />North Bay Road Pedestrian Emergency Bridge than Frank DiGilio. Frank's <br />distinguished 26 -year career with Kiewit includes working on a vast variety <br />of projects that include bridges, highways and roadway, rail, airport, and <br />installing fiber optic systems. Ranging in value from $7 million to $360 <br />million, the projects often involve elements such as tight schedules, environmentally sensitive areas, <br />cooperating with government agencies and joint venture operations. <br />Role and Responsibilities on North Bay Road Pedestrian Bridge <br />Frank will be responsible for leading the efforts of the team and providing overall direction for this <br />project. To accomplish this, he will stay continually engaged throughout the project, and maintain open <br />communication and encouraging teamwork that will develop and foster a true environment. Frank will <br />monitor and assist the team with resource allocation to ensure all steps necessary to achieve a successful <br />project are taken. Frank's ultimate responsibility will be to make certain that all project goals are achieved <br />while continuing a positive relationship and building toward the future. <br />Education, Certifications, and Licenses <br />B.S., Civil Engineering, Drexel University <br />Project Experience <br />Similar Projects <br />Project Director, Bear Cut Bridge and West Bridge Rehabilitation, Miami -Dade County Public <br />Works Department, Miami, Florida, $31 Million <br />This fast - track, $33 million design -build project involves removing, rehabilitating and replacing sections of <br />the Bear Cut and West bridges on Rickenbacker Causeway in Miami. The scope also involves widening Bear <br />Cut Bridge to provide dedicated paths for pedestrians and bicyclists on each side, as well as roadway and <br />drainage improvements, signing and pavement markings, lighting, utility services and the installation of a <br />16" water main pipeline. The new superstructures at both bridges involve pre- cast /pre- stressed concrete. <br />Project Manager, SR 464 over CSX, FDOT District 5, Ocala, FL, $26.7 Million <br />Frank's served as Project Manager for this $26.7 million design -build project involving construction of a <br />new four -lane, two -way overpass on SR 464 (SW 17th Street) over the CSX railroad and two -lane, two -way <br />frontage roads on SR 464 to provide access to adjacent development. <br />Drainage Superintendent, 2nd Avenue Bascule Bridge Replacement, FDOT District 6, Miami, FL, <br />$45 Million <br />Drainage Superintendent for this $45 million Bascule Bridge project which was constructed to ease traffic <br />in downtown Miami and to widen the channel for increased ship maneuverability in the Miami River. The <br />functionality of the bridge is critical to the more than $1 billion of commerce transported on the river each <br />year.
