His responsibilities include HVAC system <br />design, specifi cation writing, overall project coordination and construction administration. <br />In the state of Florida, Tony has 18 years of experience with all three AHCA offi ces <br />(Tallahassee, Orlando & Miami). <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />709 Alton Road Mixed-Use Complex, Miami Beach, FL | Located at 709-745 Alton Road, <br />BR+A provided shell and core design of a 64,000 SF, 4-story building to be used for <br />offi ce and retail space. Additionally, the existing surface parking will be converted into a <br />multi-story garage for approximately 170 cars. There will also be a green roof / amenity <br />terrace to overlook South Beach’s residential neighborhoods to the east. <br />Douglas Centre Corporate Office Facility Renovation, Coral Gables, FL | Renovations <br />to the interior of this 185,000 SF, 12-story building with attached parking garage located <br />at 2600 Douglas Road. Project consists of the remodeling of interior spaces including <br />common areas, corridors, restrooms, etc. <br />Broward Health North, Emergency Department-Surgery Suite-Cardiac Care Unit <br />Expansion, Deerfi eld Beach, Florida | 14,430 SF renovation and 8,000 SF addition to the <br />Surgical Suite, allowing an expansion of ORs with shelled space. Emergency Department <br />renovations will expand the area to 48 rooms and 50 treatment spaces including support <br />areas, new confi guration for the ambulance entry, entrance to the ED, and a walk-in <br />entrance. In addition, renovations to the entire Cardiac Critical Care Unit consisting of <br />patient rooms, restrooms, physician’s areas, and required support spaces are included. <br />Florida International University, Academic Health Center 5, Miami, FL | The AHC5 <br />120,000 SF Complex will house teaching labs for Public Health, faculty, research, and staff <br />offi ces, as well as wet and dry research labs for all three programs in a collaborative setting. <br />Pursuing LEED Silver Certifi cation. <br />Max Planck Florida Institute, New Research Building, Jupiter, FL | 110,000 SF research <br />building houses administrative offi ces; research library facilities; a large conference room <br />with distance learning and high-end AV capabilities; and an entry atrium / lobby / gathering <br />space. LEED Gold Certifi cation. <br />The Harbour Mixed-Use Complex, Coconut Grove, FL | Surrounded by green space and <br />the Grove Harbour Marina, this multi-use complex in historic Coconut Grove is slated to <br />include commercial and retail space (approximately 60,000 SF), restaurants (approximately <br />20,500 SF), parking for over 250 cars, as well as boat storage and dry racks. <br />Florida International University, Recreation Center Expansion, Miami, FL | Project consists <br />of expanding the existing 50,000 GSF recreation center in multiple phases. Expansion <br />includes a 10,700 SF Basketball/Volleyball Gymnasium; Cardio Fitness Area; Weight <br />Training Area; Locker Room Addition; Fitness Spinning Room; Fitness Matted Room; <br />Fitness Assessment Room; General Storage and Collaborative Workspace.
