Bill’s experience includes the design of Plumbing <br />and Fire Protection systems for a multitude of new facilities, as well as renovations for <br />projects nationwide. In addition, Bill is involved in several industry associations including the <br />American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration <br />and Air Conditioning Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association. <br />PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />700 Alton Road Mixed-Use Complex, Miami Beach, FL | Located at 709-745 Alton Road, <br />BR+A provided shell and core design of a 64,000 SF, 4-story building to be used for <br />offi ce and retail space. Additionally, the existing surface parking will be converted into a <br />multi-story garage for approximately 170 cars. There will also be a green roof / amenity <br />terrace to overlook South Beach’s residential neighborhoods to the east. <br />Seminole Theatre Renovation, Homestead, FL | Interior renovation of the existing theatre, <br />with potential minor exterior renovations / improvements, enabling them to present a <br />variety of live performances and other types of events. <br />The District at 3635 NE 1st Avenue, Miami, FL | New 435,000 GSF, 19-story tower <br />consisting of approximately 195 one and two bedroom residential units (170,000 GSF), <br />60,000 GSF of retail space, and 205,000 GSF of parking for 500 cars. <br />Broward Health North, Emergency Department-Surgery Suite-Cardiac Care Unit <br />Expansion, Deerfi eld Beach, Florida | 14,430 SF renovation and 8,000 SF addition to the <br />Surgical Suite, allowing an expansion of ORs with shelled space. Emergency Department <br />renovations will expand the area to 48 rooms and 50 treatment spaces including support <br />areas, new confi guration for the ambulance entry, entrance to the ED, and a walk-in <br />entrance. In addition, renovations to the entire Cardiac Critical Care Unit consisting of <br />patient rooms, restrooms, physician’s areas, and required support spaces are included. <br />The Harbour Mixed-Use Complex, Coconut Grove, FL | Surrounded by green space and <br />the Grove Harbour Marina, this multi-use complex in historic Coconut Grove is slated to <br />include commercial and retail space (approximately 60,000 SF), restaurants (approximately <br />20,500 SF), parking for over 250 cars, as well as boat storage and dry racks. Project will be <br />designed to meet LEED standards. <br />Florida International University, Recreation Center Expansion, Miami, FL | Located on the <br />Modesto A. Maidique Campus, the project consists of expanding the existing 50,000 GSF <br />recreation center in multiple phases. The expansion includes a 10,700 SF Basketball/ <br />Volleyball Gymnasium; Cardio Fitness Area; Weight Training Area; Locker Room Addition; <br />Fitness Spinning Room; Fitness Matted Room; Fitness Assessment Room; General Storage <br />and Collaborative Workspace.
