<br />EXPERIENCE
<br />Jorge experience includes the design of several large commercial and
<br />educational facilities in the United States as well as in South America. He
<br />has over twenty years of experience including all phases of mechanical
<br />engineering analysis and design for HVAC, thermal energy storage systems
<br />for all building types, and process piping. Jorge is an energetic leader for
<br />the mechanical team in TLC’s Miami office. His outgoing personality helps
<br />him build solid relationships with his clients and colleagues. Selected

<br />•Monroe County EOC, Marathon, Florida
<br />The project consists of a new 2 Story Emergency Operations building.
<br />Approximately 16,000 sq. ft.The building is designed to withstand
<br />category 5 hurricane winds and is at a minimum elevation above Cat 5
<br />hurricane storm surge elevation plus 20%. The building is designed for
<br />a minimum of 72 hours emergency operations with extra redundancy.
<br />Areas included are press rooms, EOC room, dormitories, kitchen, radio
<br />room, security room, and state of the art telecommunications
<br />equipment/Up to 100% CDs/2011/M/E/P/FP/CT
<br />•Pompano Beach New Beach Library, Pompano Beach, FL
<br />The project is to consist of design of a new beach library of
<br />approximately 5,000 sf. The building is located at the intersection of
<br />Riverside Drive and NE 2 d Street in Pompano Beach, Florida. $1.5
<br />million / 4,800 sf / MEP / FP / LEED Administration / CxA / Energy

<br />•University of Miami Alumni Center, Coral Gables, Florida
<br />The project consists of new four-story, alumni center building consisting of
<br />approximately 67,000 gross square feet. The first floor will have public
<br />spaces such as the reception, lobby, multi-purpose room, conference
<br />room, living room, library, lounge and other ancillary and support areas.
<br />The second floor will consist of conference rooms and offices, storage
<br />and support spaces. The third and fourth floors will be unfinished “shell”
<br />space/LEED Gold Certified/$10 million/2010
<br />•University of Miami,Law Library Computer Room, Coral Gables,
<br />Florida
<br />Engineering services for expanding a computer room in the law library
<br />IT room. Project includes the design of a new HVAC system, rerouting
<br />existing main ductwork to allow for raising the ceiling, adding new
<br />electrical service for new air handler and relocate lighting, diffusers and
<br />fire sprinkler heads as need for new ceiling layout./2010
<br />•YMCA South Dade Branch, Miami, Florida
<br />New building to include administrative offices, a youth / community
<br />center, wellness venues, an outdoor aquatic center with a pool having
<br />3,200 sq. ft of surface area, locker rooms and ancillary spaces such as
<br />mechanical and electrical rooms. There will also be an exterior play yard
<br />and basketball courts. The total area of building construction will be
<br />approximately 35,328 sq. ft./$7.3 million/
