54 <br />Fort Lauderdale High School <br />A $17 million replacement for an existing, outdated high school is under construction <br />and will be completed in two phases. For Phase I, our firm is responsible for design <br />services inclusive of schematic design through construction completion. The project <br />consists of two three-story buildings: one for administrative functions, and the other <br />housing academic activities. New parking and remodeling of existing science laboratories <br />are also underway. The classroom building accommodates Public Service and Cambridge <br />University School Magnet programs, general science, culinary arts, and ESE studies as well <br />as traditional courses. <br />Client School Board of Broward County <br />Services Programming <br />Master Planning <br />Architectural Design <br />Contract Administration <br />Status Under construction (May 2015) <br />Success Construction activities are planned <br />so as not to disrupt ongoing school <br />programming and to minimize <br />neighborhood traffic concerns. <br />Craftmanship Award for <br />Tilt Wall Construction <br />Study
