Witt O'Brien's implemented the program delivery by utilizing <br /> Public Assistance Specialist/Project Officers. <br /> Witt O'Brien's enhanced the overall recovery effort and assisted in maximizing funding from <br /> insurance and federal disaster programs by: <br /> • Participating in applicant briefings and kickoff meetings; <br /> • Providing information to the applicant in order to help determine possible program and <br /> damage eligibility; <br /> • Inspecting damage sites and ensuring a properly documented damage inspection process that <br /> facilitated less burdensome applicant claims and quicker reimbursement; <br /> • Providing eligibility guidance using our staffs comprehensive knowledge of federal Public <br /> Assistance and 406 mitigation program eligibility requirements;and <br /> • Working with FEMA and applicant Including,facilitating on-site visits when appropriate. <br /> Witt O'Brien's staff members also assisted in the project worksheet preparation,request for <br /> reimbursement review,scope of work validation,interim inspection completion,request for -- <br /> Improved and Alternate project submissions,overrun validation and final inspection completion. <br /> We provided insurance guidance and worked closely with the Applicant and their staff members to <br /> promote a professional forum for all parties and ensure the claims process moved forward. <br /> Additionally,we promptly reviewed documents to facilitate the reimbursement process and <br /> advocated for maximum benefits for the applicant with FEMA. <br /> Debris Monitoring-Hurricane Isaac(1)R-4080)- <br /> Multiple Clients in Louisiana <br /> Dates of Performance : 1:2012=-2043- 77.77'c <br /> Well before Category 1 Hurricane Isaac struck the State of Louisiana in August of 2012,Witt O'Brien's <br /> had prepositioned personnel and equipment just outside of the region which was anticipated to be <br /> most affected.Our initial response team (which consisted of our Vice President of Debris Services,a <br /> Senior Project Manager, Project Managers for each client, Data Managers and administrative staff) <br /> was on the ground with two Mobile Command Units and ready to commence preliminary damage <br /> assessments within hours of the 'all clear.'
