Before being allowed to work on City property, Bidder’s <br />employees will be required to submit to a Level II fingerprint check and criminal history background <br />investigation; and drug screening at the Bidder’s expense. <br /> <br />3.9 REPORTING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS AND ITEMS FOR REPAIR <br /> <br />The Bidder or his employees shall report any hazardous conditions and items in need of repair <br />including burnt out light bulbs, leaky faucets, toilet stoppages, etc. to the City’s Public Works <br />Operations Director or his designee. <br /> <br />3.10 ADHERENCE TO LAWS <br /> <br />The successful bidder shall be in compliance with all OSHA and other local, state and Federal <br />requirements. This includes compliance with OSHA Act #1910-1030 regarding worker exposure to <br />blood borne pathogens. <br /> <br />3.11 TERMINATION <br /> <br />The City may, by written notice to the contractor, terminate the contract if the contractor has been <br />found to have failed to perform his services in a manner satisfactory to the City as per <br />specifications. The date of termination shall be stated in the notice. The City shall be the sole judge <br />of non-performance. <br />3.12 HOURS OF OPERATION <br /> <br />The successful bidder must understand that the hours of operation are not limited to normal <br />working hours. The Police department on the second floor, Public Works and Ocean Rescue office <br />on the first floor at the government center are open seven days a week including holidays. <br />Therefore, these areas must be cleaned on a rigorous basis at least once a day. <br /> <br />3.13 GENERAL CLEANING SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />A. RESTROOMS <br /> <br />Restroom cleaning is understood to have the highest priority. Clean and service all <br />restrooms as specified. Wash urinals, water closers, ledges, sills, rails, mirrors and lavatories with <br />approved non-scratching, non-sticking, non-acid cleaners and disinfectants. Empty sanitary napkin <br />trash receptacles and disinfect. Floors in these rooms shall be mopped with an approved <br />disinfectant and cleaner that will not harm or remove special floor finishes. Water closets and <br />urinals shall be cleaned with quality materials using techniques which will remove and prevent any <br />formation of encrustations or stains under lids, ledges or rims. <br /> <br />Towel dispensers, soap dispensers and toilet paper holders shall be checked and <br />refilled daily. The term “clean” as defined here shall be construed to mean that no film, odors, <br />stains, dust, lint, streaks,, or spots can be detected on floors, walls, partitions, ledges, trim, doors,
