Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting June 18,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> 10F. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Approving a <br /> Waiver of Plat Application for the Property Located at 151-287 Sunny Isles Boulevard <br /> Commonly Known as Gateway Park; Providing the City Manager and the City Attorney <br /> with the Authority to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for <br /> an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia <br /> Hasbun reported this is the second part that we are going to replat as this is four(4)parcels. <br /> We want to subdivide the tracts into two (2) parcels, so that the Park is on its own and the <br /> Parking Garage is on its own for property tax purposes. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Goldman moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve <br /> the resolution. Resolution No. 2015-2428 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10G. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Authorizing <br /> the Creation of a Transfer of Development Rights ("TDRs") Sub-Account in the <br /> Amount of 19,287 Square Feet of Floor Area and Nine (9) Dwelling Units in Favor of <br /> St. Tropez Beach Developers, LLC. et. al.; Directing the Zoning Administrator or their <br /> Designee to Bank the TDRs in a Private TDRs Sub-Account with Certain Conditions; <br /> Providing the City Manager and the City Attorney with the Authority to Do All Things <br /> Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia <br /> Hasbun reported that the Commission approved a Site Plan Modification on April 16, 2015 <br /> for the Towers Project. The Applicant paid for those TDRs in units and square footage and <br /> he is now requesting to bank it in a private account for those TDRs that he is not using on the <br /> project. This Sub-Account will be restricted to the west side of Collins Avenue only. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Levin moved and Commissioner Goldman seconded a motion to approve <br /> the resolution. Resolution No. 2015-2429 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10H. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Authorizing <br /> the Chief of Police,in Accordance with the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984,and <br /> in Accordance with Section 932.7055,F.S.,to Expend Partial Forfeiture Funds from the <br /> Department of Justice (DOJ) to Purchase Document Scanners, UHF Radios and <br /> Accessories, Televisions/Monitors, a Forensic Data Extraction Solution, and Other <br /> Permissible Items Listed on the Attached Certification, in an Amount Not to Exceed <br /> $27,100.00; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Police Captain Michael Grandinetti reported. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Goldman moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution.
