The Weitz Company served as Construction Manager for this project, <br />which was completed in three phases. A 3-story addition (110,000 SF) was <br />built to the southwest of the existing building to house 12 science classrooms <br />and labs. A two-story 71,000 square-foot academic addition was completed, <br />as well as single-story 32,000 square-foot administrative and student <br />common areas. Seventy-seven classrooms were renovated, along with a full <br />renovation of the existing auditorium space to create new vocal, orchestra, and <br />drama rooms. A physical plant was added to hold the “heart” of the mechanical <br />systems for the building, plus a new automotive academic teaching area.
