Related Experience <br />Page 26 <br />Project Description <br />Skanska provided construction management services for the $24 <br />million, three-story, 84,000-SF county courthouse annex extension <br />and administration building. The project includes six new courtrooms, <br />administrative office space and extensive prisoner and judicial security <br />infrastructure. <br />The project site is approximately 16 acres and is adjoined to the <br />Northwest Florida Fairgrounds and occupied by motorists attending the <br />Fairgrounds for various scheduled events. The new site has two retention <br />ponds, multiple parking spots, new hardscape and landscape in addition <br />to a new DOT entrance with a traffic signal. <br />The structure of the new building consists of tilt wall construction with <br />brick inlay, CMU and structural steel which have sprayed on fireproofing <br />in addition to the metal decking. The roof of the new building consists of <br />styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified bituminous membrane roofing <br />with parapet walls. The exterior of the building consists of CMU, brick, <br />aluminum storefront, glazed aluminum curtain walls, security glazing <br />and canopies.
