Project Management Services <br />Page 63 <br />LEED Methodologies <br />The construction phase starts with a sustainable design <br />kick-off meeting with Skanska and our subcontractors. <br />Such meeting will focus on reviewing the LEED Scorecard, <br />the LEED performance criteria and the documentation <br />requirements. Upon the conclusion of such meeting and <br />updating the LEED construction phase documentation <br />and providing progress reports to both City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach and Perkins + Will, the Project Execution Plan will be <br />updated to incorporate: <br /> •Finalizing the Construction Waste Management, <br />Indoor Air Quality Management, Commissioning <br />plans included in the Project Execution Plan to assure <br />compliance with LEED requirements and other LEED <br />Decision Making Responsibilities required. <br /> •Finalizing the LEED Calculation and Cost Analysis <br />Responsibilities to assure accurate reporting of <br />construction waste, resource reuse, recycled content, <br />low emitting materials and renewable materials <br />requirements. <br /> •Finalizing the LEED Submittal and contract <br />administration responsibilities to assure accurate <br />documentation of construction activity pollution <br />control, resource reuse, recycled content, renewable <br />materials, construction indoor air quality and low <br />emitting materials. <br />During construction Skanska will: <br /> •Plan for waste prevention by implementing jobsite <br />waste prevention methods that include setting up <br />central cutting areas, recycling and utilizing material <br />storage and handling practices that prevent damage. <br /> •Plan for enhancing air quality during construction <br />by exceeding the recommended control measures of <br />“SMACNA IAQ Guidelines”, protecting the onsite <br />stored materials from moisture damage and installing <br />MERV 8 filtration media at all return air openings.
