Project Management Services Page 63 LEED Methodologies The construction phase starts with a sustainable design kick-off meeting with Skanska and our subcontractors. Such meeting will focus on reviewing the LEED Scorecard, the LEED performance criteria and the documentation requirements. Upon the conclusion of such meeting and updating the LEED construction phase documentation and providing progress reports to both City of Sunny Isles Beach and Perkins + Will, the Project Execution Plan will be updated to incorporate: •Finalizing the Construction Waste Management, Indoor Air Quality Management, Commissioning plans included in the Project Execution Plan to assure compliance with LEED requirements and other LEED Decision Making Responsibilities required. •Finalizing the LEED Calculation and Cost Analysis Responsibilities to assure accurate reporting of construction waste, resource reuse, recycled content, low emitting materials and renewable materials requirements. •Finalizing the LEED Submittal and contract administration responsibilities to assure accurate documentation of construction activity pollution control, resource reuse, recycled content, renewable materials, construction indoor air quality and low emitting materials. During construction Skanska will: •Plan for waste prevention by implementing jobsite waste prevention methods that include setting up central cutting areas, recycling and utilizing material storage and handling practices that prevent damage. •Plan for enhancing air quality during construction by exceeding the recommended control measures of “SMACNA IAQ Guidelines”, protecting the onsite stored materials from moisture damage and installing MERV 8 filtration media at all return air openings.
