Webb Management Services Inc. 4
introduction
relevant research, innovative thinking, and in-the-trenches experimentation that will allow
the cultural sector to respond more rapidly to changing conditions. In joining together with
the Cultural Policy Center at the University of Chicago, the group hopes to create a new
capacity in the cultural sector for coordinating research agendas, generating new ideas,
injecting knowledge and new practices into our system, and tackling important issues that
others are reluctant to approach.
Duncan Webb and CultureLab served as advisors on the recently released University of
Chicago study, Set in Stone: Building America’s Next Generation of Arts Facilities (1994-
2008).
service philosophy + communications approach
Duncan Webb would serve as project manager and prime point of contact for the project,
participating in all meetings and presentations. It is important for us to be accessible
and in close communication with our clients. As such, we are extremely responsive and
available regardless of location.
Our internal process includes a system of checks and balances in order to control the
quality and timing of our work. In addition, the backgrounds of all of our employees
(current and any future), with an important combination of arts experience and training,
ensure that we are delivering quality research and effective planning to our clients. This is
our most important service philosophy. We encourage the City to contact our references,
who can best speak to our level of accessibility and ability to deliver high quality, effective,
and timely services and deliverables.
Contact:
Duncan Webb
Webb Management Services
350 Fifth Avenue, Suite 4005
New York, NY 10118
introduction (continued)
