In addition, Pat Bosch as Design Director of the Miami Office will provide critical design peer review and <br /> critique during the design process and George Valcarcel will provide Quality Review and peer review of the construction <br /> documents. <br /> MEETING SCHEDULE . <br /> Based on the proposed design schedule described above, we have assumed the following maximum number of <br /> meetings and presentations calculated into our fee: <br /> Programming Verification + Stakeholder Meetings 2 meetings with City Staff and Stakeholders <br /> Schematic Design 2 Meetings with the City, 1,Commission Presentation <br /> Client Review and Approval of Design and Cost 1 Meeting with the City <br /> Design Development 2 Meetings with the City, 1 Commission Presentation <br /> Client Review and Approval of Design and Cost 1 Meeting with the City <br /> Construction Documents 2 Meetings with the City, 1 Commission Presentation <br /> Review and Approval of Design and Cost(final before permit) 1 Meeting with the City <br /> BUDGET <br /> We understand that the project budget is evolving as the detailed program areas and parking requirements are finalized <br /> based on the eventual mix of Academic, Civic, Office,Wellness and Retail uses.We would recommend that the City <br /> of Sunny Isles Beach engage a Construction Manager to work with the design architect from the start of the process; <br /> the current robust construction market has resulted in rising construction costs and we viant to ensure that with the <br /> help of a CM, we can establish and maintain a construction cost within budget for this project from Schematic Design <br /> through to the completion of Construction Documents. <br /> FEES AND EXPENSES <br /> Perkins+Will proposes to provide the services as outlined herein in a sequenced fashion. <br /> The proposed fees by phase include: <br /> Architecture and Interior Design Fee <br /> Program Verification $22,500 <br /> Schematic Design $207,000 <br /> Design Development $208,500 <br /> Construction Documents $295,000 <br /> Bidding + Permitting $49,500 <br /> Construction Administration $506,500 <br /> Furniture Selection for Civic Spaces $30,500 <br /> Engineering and Landscape Consultants Fee <br /> Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering $430,000 <br /> Separate Electric Metering for Office(3), School(1), Civic(1) $15,000 <br /> Structural Engineering $180,000 <br /> Threshold Inspections $80,000 <br /> Civil Engineering 555,000 <br /> Landscape Architecture $105,000 <br /> Green Roof Over School/Additional Site Features $37,500 <br /> The above-described professional fees are for base building Architecture, Interiors,Engineering and Landscape design <br /> services and do not include any additional consultant services.Additional consultants requested by the City of Sunny <br /> Isles Beach may include specialties such as specialty kitchen (warming kitchen for the School and Senior Center are <br /> included in the above fee),specialty acoustical,specialty lighting,specialty audio-visual,etc.Perkins+Will can provide <br /> these additional consultant services and associated fee proposals as an addition to this base contract amount. In <br /> addition, the Interior Design services are for core and shell design and will include finishes and lighting design for all <br /> core and shell surfaces and furniture selection and specification for the Civic and Main Lobby areas.
