Chairperson Del Monico explained the process: <br /> • It starts with a proposal from the property owner, the Board, or the City Commission; <br /> • Designation Report; <br /> • Public Hearing notice requirement; <br /> • Personal notice, which means that every property that is up for consideration has to be <br /> notified personally, and she asked if we complied with that because she did not get <br /> noticed on her property. Acting City Attorney Wright said it is not required to personally <br /> notify, and Chairperson Del Monico said it was stated in Deputy City Attorney's memo. <br /> Acting City Attorney Wright said it is not in the Ordinance and that he may have been <br /> looking at some other provisions such as State Code but that it is always a good idea <br /> to personally notify the homeowner. Mayor Edelcup said that these sites were already <br /> designated by the County. Chairperson Del Monico requested that "personal notice" <br /> be left in. <br /> • Public Hearing to approve or reject by resolution; and <br /> • Place it on the agenda for the City Commission for their consideration. <br /> Richard Schulman reported and presented renderings of the sites, and said that they are ready <br /> for re-dedication by this Board, and if approved, he would make the presentation to the City <br /> Commission on July 14, 2005. The following Resolutions were considered by the Board: <br /> 5A. A Resolution of the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br /> Recommending to the City Commission the Re-Designation of the Atlantic Isles <br /> Entrance Bridge and the Atlantic Isles Lake Bridge as Individual Historic Sites; <br /> Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: Phillip Chernoff moved and Hassida Gabor seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution, and place it on the July 14, 2005 City Commission meeting agenda. HPB <br /> Resolution No. 2005-01 was adopted by a voice vote of 6-04 in favor (Michelle <br /> D'Arbelles absent). <br /> 5B. A Resolution of the Historic Preservation Board of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br /> Recommending to the City Commission the Re-Designation of the Water Court Villa and <br /> Pergola, Located at 334 Atlantic Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,as an Individual <br /> Historic Site; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: Phillip Chernoff moved and Bonita Shoki seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution, and place it on the July 14, 2005 City Commission meeting agenda. HPB <br /> Resolution No. 2005-02 was adopted by a voice vote of 6-0-1 in favor (Michelle <br /> D'Arbelles absent). <br /> 5C.
