(the "Applicant"), the <br />owner of the approximately 3.56 acre (upland) property located at the above -referenced address <br />(the `Property"), we respectfully submitted a Letter of Intent in. connection with your <br />Department's rules and regulations for filing a Public Hearing Application in the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach (the "City"). On June 23; 2015, we received your comments, dated June 22; 2015, <br />on the proposed site plan amendment application (the "Letter'). In response to your Letter, we <br />are submitting this I" Amended Letter of Intent. Enclosed is a revised site plan entitled "Sunny <br />Isles Publix" as prepared by Fisher & Associates, LLC and dated June 30, 2015. The <br />Applicant's development team has gone to great lengths to redesign the ingress and egress of the <br />Property in order to address the City's traffic concerns along 183`d Street. The development <br />team's innovative traffic solution will require all delivery trucks to enter and leave the Property <br />on Collins Avenue as opposed to 183`d Street. In addition, customers will now have the <br />opportunity to enter the Property from Collins Avenue as well as from 183`d Street. This revised <br />vehicular movement will dramatically reduce the amount of AM and PM trips on 183`d Street. <br />Please note, as a result of this revised plan; the Applicant is no longer requesting the relocation <br />of the bus stop. <br />We believe that the revised site plan has addressed all of the comments raised in the <br />Letter as well as the comments provided to the Applicant at the June 23, 2015 Development <br />CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA <br />305-854-OSOO 954-763-4242 <br />
