She said this <br /> was an add-on because they were waiting for a recommendation from the Citizens' Planning <br /> Advisory Committee. Jorge Vera reviewed changes that were made to correct errors. <br /> Public Speakers: Cliff Schulman,Esq.;Community Planning and Development Director Marla <br /> Dumas; Zoning and Code Administrator Jorge Vera; John Shepherd, Chairperson of the <br /> Citizens' Planning Advisory Committee <br /> Chairperson John Shepherd said the Committee recommended the proposed ordinance, but <br /> asked staff to make additional review of two remaining issues relating to kitchens and valet <br /> parking. Extensive discussion followed on those two topics. Mayor Samson directed the <br /> Administration and the City Attorney to continue reviewing the two issues and to bring a <br /> report back to the City Commission meeting in November. <br /> Commissioner Iglesias moved the proposed ordinance and Commissioner Kauffinan seconded <br /> a motion to approve the proposal on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll <br /> call vote of 5-0 in favor.
