Section includes playground equipment as follows: <br />SUMMARY <br />1. Freestanding playground equipment. <br />2. Composite playground equipment. <br /> <br />1.02 <br />A. Definitions in ASTM F 1487 apply to Work of this Section. <br />DEFINITIONS: <br />B. IPEMA: International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association. <br /> <br />1.03 <br /> <br />PREINSTALLATION MEETINGS: <br />A. Preinstallation Conference: Contractor shall schedule a pre-installation conference at Samson <br />Park, with Landscape Architect, Engineer and Owner, prior to installation. <br /> <br />1.04 <br /> <br />ACTION SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product. <br /> <br />B. Shop Drawings: For each type of playground equipment. <br />1. Include plans, elevations, sections, and attachment details. <br />2. Include fall heights and use zones for playground equipment, coordinated with the critical-height <br />values of protective surfacing specified in Section 321816.13 "Playground Protective Surfacing." <br />C. Samples: For each exposed product and for each color and texture specified. <br /> <br />1.05 <br /> <br />INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS: <br />A. Product certificates. <br />1. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certifications <br />2. IPEMA Certified <br />3. ASTM published "Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specifications for Playground <br />Equipment for Public Use," designation F1487-93. <br /> <br />1.06 <br /> <br />CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS: <br />A. Maintenance data. <br /> <br />1.07 <br /> <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE: <br />A. Installer Qualifications: An entity that employs installers and supervisors who are trained and approved <br />by manufacturer. Installer have minimum of 7 years of experience installing playgrounds in South <br />Florida. <br /> <br />1.08 <br /> <br />WARRANTY: <br />A. Special Warranty: Manufacturer agrees to repair or replace components of playground equipment that <br />fail in materials or workmanship within specified warranty period. <br />B. 100-Year Limited Warranty: On all PlayBooster®, PlayShaper® and PlaySense® aluminum posts,
