Structural-Steel Shapes, Plates, and Bars: ASTM A 36 (Hot-Dip Galvanized G-185 minimum). <br /> <br />B. Structural-Steel Tubing: ASTM A 500, GRADE B (Hot-Dip Galvanized G-185 minimum). <br /> <br />C. Anchor Rods (Hooked, Headed, Threaded & Nutted): ASTM F1554, Grade 36 (Hot-Dip <br />Galvanized G-185 minimum). <br /> <br />D. Bolts: ASTM A 325 headed bolts, Type 3, Corrosion Resistant. <br /> <br />E. Nuts: ASTM A563 (Hot-Dip Galvanized G-185 minimum) <br /> <br />F. Washers: ASTM F436 (Hot-Dip Galvanized G-185 minimum) <br /> <br />E. Fabricate structural steel according to AISC-13 <br />FABRICATION: <br />th <br />limits of AISC's "Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges" for <br /> Edition specifications and tolerance <br />structural steel. <br /> <br />B. Shop Priming: Prepare surfaces according to ASTM A123/A123M-02, Standard Specification for <br />Zinc (Hot-Dip Galvanized G-185 minimum) Coating on Iron and Steel Products. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />3.01 <br />A. Erect structural steel according to AISC-13 <br />ERECTION <br />th <br /> <br /> Edition specifications and within erection tolerances <br />of AISC's "Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges." <br />B. Set base and bearing plates on wedges, shims, or setting nuts. Tighten anchor bolts, cut off <br />wedges or shims flush with edge of plate, and pack grout solidly between bearing surfaces and <br />plates. <br /> <br />C. Bolted Connections: Install and tighten non-high strength bolts. Snug tighten high-strength bolts <br />according to RCSC's "Specification for Structural Joints Using ASTM 325 or A 490 Bolts." <br />
