Strike mortar joints concave at exterior masonry <br />2. Strike mortar joints concave at interior conditions <br /> <br />D. Keep cavities clear of excessive mortar or other debris. Utilize prefabricated material to prevent mortar <br />droppings from clogging weepholes as specified in Division 4 Section "Unit Masonry". <br /> <br />E. Cleaning: <br />1. Remove "primary" efflorescence from masonry walls exposed in the finished work. Follow <br />recommendations of Masonry Industry Associations and manufacturers. <br />2. Remove dirt or stains from masonry walls exposed in the finished work in accordance with the <br />manufacturer's recommendations and the applicable industry association guidelines. <br /> <br />3.06 CLEAN-UP AND PROTECTION <br /> <br />: <br />A. Clean all masonry surfaces in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Ensure that cleanino "' <br />solution does not stain or soil adjacent construction. <br /> <br />B. Remove all excess materials, debris, trash, waste and equipment from project work site, and leave area <br />ready for next trade. <br /> <br />C. Remove sample panels after each portion of the masonry construction is completely installed and accepted <br />by the Owner and Architect. <br /> <br />D. Protect all installed masonry construction from damage, stains, soil, or other deleterious conditions until <br />acceptance of building by the Owner and Architect. <br /> <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br />
