Samson Oceanfront Park <br />City of Sunny Isles <br />Technical Specifications <br />STUCCO, CEMENT PLASTERING 092400-3 <br />machine texture finish is specified. <br /> <br />3.03 <br /> <br />FIELD QUALITY CONTROL: <br />A. Patching: <br />1. Work containing cracks, blisters, pits, checks, or discoloration will not be accepted. Remove such <br />work including rejected work, and replace with new. Patching of defective work permitted only after <br />notification of Architect. <br />2. Perform cutting, patching, repairing and pointing-up operations neatly and thoroughly. Repair the <br />cracks and indented surfaces by moistening the stucco and filling with new material, troweled or <br />tamped flush with adjoining surfaces. Point-up and finish surfaces around fixtures, outlet boxes, <br />piping, fittings, tile and other work installed more than 48 hours, cut existing stucco at an angle of <br />approximately 45 degrees with the surface before installing new stucco. <br /> <br />3.04 CLEANING AND PROTECTION: <br /> <br /> <br />A. Make provisions to minimize spattering of stucco on other work. Promptly clean windows and other <br />surfaces that have been soiled. <br /> <br />B. Protect stucco from the weather, premature drying, dirt, dust, marring or other damage throughout the <br />construction period so it will be without any indication of damage at time of acceptance by OWNER. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION
