Samson Oceanfront Park <br />City of Sunny Isles <br />Technical Specifications <br />SITE PREPARATION 02100-2 <br /> <br />3.02 STANDARD CLEARING AND GRUBBING: <br /> <br /> Standard site clearing and grubbing, in accordance with <br />FDOT Specification Section 110-2 and Section 02110, shall be performed within the areas shown on the <br />Drawings or otherwise noted in the above referenced specification. <br />3.03 EROSION CONTROL: <br /> <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall prevent and control erosion and water pollution as per <br />Section 02270 and FDOT Specification Sections 104-1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 and Florida Department of <br />Environmental Protection (FDEP) regulations and permit conditions. <br />3.04 PROTECTION AND/OR RELOCATION OF EXISTING FACILITIES: <br /> <br /> Existing facilities such as storm <br />drains, roadways, water lines, light poles, conduits, fences, utility and telephone lines, etc. are to be <br />carefully protected from damage during all phases of the construction. The CONTRACTOR shall make all <br />necessary arrangements with the owner of the facility and be responsible for all costs involved in the proper <br />protection, relocation or other work that such owners deem necessary. See Section 01530. <br />3.05 UNDERGROUND UTILITIES: <br /> <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall provide all necessary liaisons with other <br />utilities (underground) by notification, 48 hours in advance, of any digging by telephoning the appropriate <br />Utility Notification Center and local utilities. <br />END OF SECTION
