SAMSON OCEANFRONT PARK <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />PAVEMENT MARKING 02577-2 <br /> <br />3.04 CORRECTED MEASURES: <br /> <br /> All painted stripes, which fail to meet the specifications including the <br />permissible tolerances and appearance requirements, or are marred or damaged by traffic or from other <br />causes, shall be corrected by the CONTRACTOR at its sole expense. All drips and spattered paint shall be <br />removed to the satisfaction of the ENGINEER. Whenever it is necessary to remove paint, it shall be <br />performed by sand blasting or by any other means, which will not damage the underlying surface of the <br />pavement as approved by the ENGINEER. <br />3.05 PROTECTION: <br /> <br />The CONTRACTOR shall protect all newly painted stripes until the paint is sufficiently <br />dry to permit vehicles to cross the stripe without causing damage. <br />END OF SECTION
