Report of Geotechnical Exploration November 7, 2014 <br />Samson Oceanfront Park AREHNA Project B-14-124  <br /> <br /> <br />10 | Page <br />7.0 BASIS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />The analysis and recommendations provided in this report are based upon the data obtained in this <br />exploration at the locations indicated. Regardless of the thoroughness of a geotechnical exploration, there is <br />always a possibility that conditions between borings will be different from those at specific boring locations <br />and that conditions will not be as anticipated by the designers or contractors. In addition, the construction <br />process itself may alter soil conditions. The assessment of site environmental conditions or the presence of <br />pollutants in the soil, rock or ground water of the site is beyond the scope of this geotechnical exploration. <br /> <br />AREHNA intends to perform a general review of the foundation and earthwork plans and specifications <br />prepared from the recommendations presented in this report. We will then suggest any modifications so that <br />our recommendations are properly interpreted and implemented. Our report has been written in a guideline <br />recommendation format and is not appropriate for use as a specification without in-part being reworded into <br />a specification-type format. <br /> <br />AREHNA Engineering, Inc. is a Geotechnical Engineering Company qualified in geotechnical <br />investigations engaged in geotechnical exploration and testing in an ongoing professional basis.
