We are in receipt of your initial comments, dated October 20, <br /> 2015, regarding the proposed development. In addition, we appreciated meeting with you and <br /> your colleagues at the Development Review Committee (DRC) meeting on October 29, 2015. In <br /> response to the various comments raised by the City, we are submitting this 1St Amended Letter <br /> of Intent. Below are the Applicant's responses to such comments: <br /> • There will be 119 public TDR units utilized within the development. The <br /> two towers will each be 56 stories high and the total amount of square <br /> footage will be 1,228,399 square feet. <br /> • The Applicant will be seeking the approval of an increase in Floor Area <br /> Ratio through the use of bonuses as stated in the Letter of Intent in <br /> accordance with Section 265-35(D)(9)(c) of the LDRs. <br /> • Although referenced in the Letter of Intent, the Applicant would like to <br /> formally make a new request number 5, for an extension of the 24 month <br /> time frame to pull a building permit, as set forth in Section 265-11.N.(2) <br /> of the LDR's and, instead, that the City approve a 48 month time <br /> CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA <br /> 305-854-0800 954-763-4242 <br /> • <br />
