Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting November 19,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida <br /> Commissioner Aelion said he had voiced to staff the sensitive exposure to our residents or <br /> visitors who are going to use the Beach Accesses and he had asked staff to look into a non- <br /> abusive scenario wherein the developers may use other means, like for example times as an <br /> alternative to seek beach closures only in inevitable situations where they would be forced to <br /> do that, then he has to provide a permit. City Manager Russo said this gives us the total <br /> flexibility to have that discretion, and City Attorney Ottinot agreed. <br /> Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> proposed Ordinance on first reading. The motion was approved by a roll call vote of 5-0 <br /> in favor.
