ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING s Public Hearings) <br /> g ) <br /> Sitting in as the Local Planning Agency and the City Commission, to Consider the <br /> Following Ordinance Amending the Land Development Regulations (LDRs): <br /> 9A. A Resolution of the Local Planning Agency of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, <br /> Approving and Recommending to the City Commission of Sunny Isles Beach,the Ordinance <br /> Entitled "Small Scale Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City of Sunny Isles <br /> Beach Comprehensive Plan"; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: [City Clerk's Note:Items 9A and 9A.1 were heard together.] City Clerk Hines read <br /> the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia Hasbun reported. <br /> Vice Mayor Gatto moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. LPA Resolution No. 2015-95 was adopted by a vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 9A.1 An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Entitled <br /> "Small Scale Amendment to the Future Land Use Map of the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Comprehensive Plan"; Providing for Transmittal to the Florida Department of Economic <br /> Opportunities;Providing for Inclusion in the Code;Providing for Severability;Providing for <br /> Repealer; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> (First Reading 10/15/15) <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Planning and Zoning Administrator Claudia <br /> Hasbun reported that this Amendment only effects properties owned by the City. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Vice Mayor Gatto moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> Ordinance on second reading. Ordinance No.2015-465 was adopted by a roll call vote <br /> of 5-0 in favor. <br /> Vote: Commissioner Aelion yes <br /> Commissioner Goldman yes <br /> Commissioner Levin yes <br /> Vice Mayor Gatto yes <br /> Mayor Scholl yes <br /> 9B. An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Amending <br /> Section 256-14 of the Code of Ordinances of Sunny Isles Beach ("Parking Rates"); <br /> Establishing New Hourly Parking Fees at Certain Parking Meter Locations;Providing <br /> for Severability; Providing for Inclusion in the Code; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> (First Reading 10/15/15) <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Deputy City Manager Morris reported that this <br /> Ordinance raises our rates for beachfront parking. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Commissioner Aelion said a comparative study was done with our adjacent jurisdictions and <br /> it was still below par, and Deputy City Manager Morris said that is correct. <br /> 19 <br />
