Summary Minutes:Regular City Commission Meeting November 19,2015 City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida Ms. Simpson said 3,000. He asked the Chief about security and traffic,and Chief Maas said the security would require a Supervisor and a squad of about four(4) or maybe five (5), we have to go to the highest number. We can't add people as we go but we can move people to different locations,and so if there were 1,500 we can move people to assist with the parking. Mayor Scholl said he needs a motion with the modification of the personnel costs being passed through, we are going to waive the parking in the Heritage garage and the hard fees that would normally have to be paid. Commissioner Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the resolution,as amended. Resolution No.2015-2489 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 1011. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving an Agreement with the State of Florida, Office of the State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida to Reimburse the State for the Cost of State Attorney Prosecution of Certain Criminal Violations of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach;Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement;Providing the City Manager and City Attorney with the Authority to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate the Intent of this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Attorney Ottinot reported. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Aelion moved and Vice Mayor Gatto seconded a motion to approve the resolution. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,Awarding Bid No. 14-09-01 to and Approving an Agreement with Ebsary Foundation Co. to Provide Professional Construction Services for the Construction of the North Bay Road Pedestrian Emergency Bridge, in a Total Amount Not to Exceed $6,026,716.85, in Substantially the Same Form Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A"; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: [City Clerk's Note: Related Item 10M was heard with this item.] City Clerk Hines read the title, and City Manager Russo asked that we hear related Item 10M as well as it is the amendment to the Agreement with Calvin Giordano to redesign the most southern vent of the bridge. This is the actual structure of the bridge where it lands on the Porto Bellagio property to eliminate the need for the additional easement area that we have since backed off of the condemnation. City Manager Russo said this is the actual contract that the Commission authorized him to negotiate back in August with Ebsary who was the low bidder, who did the C3 bids for this. They ranged from$5.5 Million to$6.5 Million. We have a larger contingency built into this because we fully expect to have to rearrange the whole construction methodology of that C3 24
