3. Qualifications of Personnel Assigned (Continued) <br /> Team Member Role and Value to the City <br /> Pablo Llerena, CPA PABLO R. LLERENA, CPA will be the Engagement Partner. Mr. Llerena <br /> Engagement Partner has extensive experience in governmental audits, and has performed <br /> ' llerena@glsccpa.com governmental audits for the last 35 years. He will devote a substantial <br /> part of his time to the completion of the work. <br /> ' The engagement will be performed under the direct supervision of the <br /> engagement partner. The engagement partner has direct responsibility <br /> for engagement policy, direction, supervision, quality control, security <br /> and communication with City personnel. The engagement partner will be <br /> responsible for the quality control, supervision and confidentiality of <br /> information of the engagement and will participate extensively during the <br /> various stages of the engagement. He will attend meetings, respond <br /> ' to telephone calls and respond to specific inquiries on a day-to-day <br /> basis as primary point of contact. <br /> He will also be involved in: <br /> • coordinating all services to the City; <br /> • directing the development of the overall audit approach and <br /> plan; <br /> • performing an overriding review of work papers; <br /> • resolving technical accounting and reporting issues; <br /> • reviewing, approving and signing reports, management letters, <br /> and other audit engagement products; <br /> ' • supervising staff; <br /> • ascertaining the City is pleased with all aspects of our <br /> engagement, such as services and the personnel assigned; <br /> • leading meetings and discussions with key management <br /> personnel; and <br /> • meeting with governing board to present audit reports. <br /> Manuel Garcia, CPA Manuel Garcia, CPA will be the concurring consultant. Mr. Garcia has <br /> Concurring Consultant been involved in performing governmental audits for 35 years as a <br /> ' oarcia@glsccpa.com partner of GLSC & Company, PLLC, and is the concurring consultant of <br /> all the governmental audits of the firm. <br /> He will assist the engagement partner and be available as a sounding <br /> board to advise in those areas where problems are encountered.
