The OWNER's duties in respect of providing lands and easements and providing <br />engineering surveys to establish reference points are set forth in Paragraphs 4.1 <br />and 4.5. The OWNER shall identify and make available to the CONTRACTOR <br />copies of reports of explorations and tests of subsurface conditions at the site <br />and in existing structures which have been utilized by the ENGINEER in <br />preparing the Drawings and Technical Specifications as set forth in Paragraph <br />4.2. <br /> <br />8.4 CHANGE ORDERS <br /> <br />A. The OWNER shall execute Change Orders as indicated in Paragraph 10.1D. <br /> <br />8.5 INSPECTIONS AND TESTS <br /> <br />A. The OWNER's responsibility in respect of certain inspections, tests, and <br />approvals is set forth in Paragraph 13.3B. <br /> <br />8.6 SUSPENSION OF WORK <br /> <br />A. In connection with the OWNER's right to stop Work or suspend Work, see <br />Paragraphs 13.4 and 15.1. Paragraphs 15.2 and 15.3 deal with the OWNER's <br />right to terminate services of the CONTRACTOR under certain circumstances. <br /> <br /> <br />ARTICLE 9 -- ENGINEER'S STATUS DURING CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />9.1 OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE <br /> <br />A. The ENGINEER will be the OWNER's representative during the construction <br />period. The duties and responsibilities and the limitations of authority of the <br />ENGINEER as the OWNER's representative during construction are set forth in <br />the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />9.2 VISITS TO SITE <br /> <br />A. The ENGINEER will make visits to the site during construction to observe the <br />progress and quality of the Work and to determine, in general, if the Work is <br />proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents. The ENGINEER will not <br />be required to make exhaustive or continuous on-site inspections to check the <br />quality or quantity of the Work. The ENGINEER will not, during such visits or as <br />a result of such observations of the CONTRACTOR's Work in progress, <br />supervise, direct, or have control over the CONTRACTOR's Work. <br /> <br />9.3 PROJECT REPRESENTATION <br /> <br />A. The ENGINEER may furnish a Resident Project Representative to assist in <br />observing the performance of the Work. The duties, responsibilities, and <br />limitations of authority of any such Resident Project Representative and <br />assistants will be as provided in the Supplementary General Conditions. <br /> <br />9.4 CLARIFICATIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS
