• Are the attached two attached RFQs identical with two different numbers, Bid
® No. 12-04-01 and Bid No. 12-04-02 for the same solicitation?
The bids are identical in content except one is for Firms only and the other is
for individuals only.
• Are there any page limits for the bid to be submitted for each professional
category?
No.
• Can we submit the references from the industrial clients with their letterhead?
Yes, however, the RFQ requires at least three (3) public sector clients'
references.
• Is a firm that provides more than one (1) of the professional categories
(Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil/Environmental Services, Planning
Urban Design & Traffic Engineering & Transportation Services) required to
submit a separate proposal for each?
All firms must submit separate proposals for each category in which they wish
to be considered.
• Regarding section 4.2.1.5 Landscape Architecture. They are requiring a
registered architect or engineer be the team project manager instead of a
registered landscape architect. Is this correct?
We are requiring a registered landscape architect
• Section 5.1, sub-section 2 "Qualifications" (Page 25) requests that the
submittals provide "a schedule of proposed services, and that the schedule
should include the Proposer's understanding of the issues and tasks of the
project at hand."
The services outlined are examples of possible services that may be needed.
The proposer shall provide enough information to show that they have the
qualifications and experience to provide the services outlined.
• We have been advised by several municipal clients they have
been advised not to issue any letter of recommendations. They indicated that
under Florida law, if the Procurement Department of the City or government
agency that we are applying for (in this case City of Sunny Isles) sends a
survey form requesting general information about the applicant and
performance, then it is acceptable for them to respond. Has the city made
arrangements for this type of reference verification; and if so, how may we
submit the information for the city to verify our references?
Thursday, April 26, 2012
