The City will contact your references directly. Please provide the contact
information include Entity, Name, Project, Phone and email address.
Furthermore, the City is only interested in references from the Public Sector.
• Please clarify the difference between RFQ #12-04-01 for Individuals and
RFQ#12-04-02 for Firms. Should a corporation be required to submit under
RFQ 12-04-02 for firms?
Any legally form corporation, LLC or partnership.
• Should a Landscape Architectural firm include sub-consultants for potential
civil or electrical services that may be required on a park or streetscape project
or will the City secure those services separately based on consultants chosen
through this RFQ process?
That will be determined on a pre project basis.
• On page 25, under Qualifications it states that a schedule of proposed
services shall be submitted. The schedule should include the Proposer's
understanding of the issues and tasks of the project at hand. Since there is no
particular project assigned at this time, what would you like the schedule to be
based on?
® Based on the examples of projects listed under each discipline.
• Is it correct that a licensed landscape architecture firm would not be able to
submit qualifications for the landscape architecture services per the
information outlined in the RFQ on page 23 under 4.2.1.5 Landscape
Architecture where it states that the firms must be registered engineering firms
and services will be performed under the direction of a qualified architect?
Section 4.2.1.5 Shall now read
4.2.1 .5 LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
• The selected prime firms shall be registered landscape architecture
firms licensed with the State of Florida. All professional services shall be
performed under the direction of a professional registered with the State of
Florida and qualified in the specific field (i.e. Professional Architect [PA]
etc.).
• The selected prime firms shall have been in business and have a
minimum of five (5) years experience in providing landscape architectural
professional services in the State of Florida.
• The firm must identify a Team Project Manager who must be licensed in
the State of Florida as a Professional landscape architect and have a
minimum of seven (7) years experience in architecture and have served
as project manager on similar projects on a minimum of three (3) previous
occasions within the State of Florida.
Thursday, April 26, 2012
