<br /> Senior Inspector responsible for overseeing the roadway construction improvements on Okeechobee Boulevard, between
<br /> ® Australian Avenue and Parker/Tamarind Avenue. The improvements under this contract consist of providing a new second
<br /> left hand turn lane on the west approach to the intersection, an auxiliary lane to allow for eastbound traffic exiting Australian
<br /> Avenue to enter and merge onto Okeechobee Boulevard, a right turn lane to provide westbound traffic turning onto
<br /> Australian Avenue, milling and resurfacing of existing pavements, drainage improvements, sidewalks, a new combined
<br /> traffic/rail signal system, lighting, signing and pavement markings, and tree relocation. The typical section consists of a 6-
<br /> lane urban divided arterial with curb and gutter approaching the CSX/Tri-Rail at-grade gated crossing. Signal and crossing
<br /> gates will be installed by CSX's Railroad contractor and coordinated with the County's roadway approach and joint signal
<br /> installations. Project length: 0.3 miles.
<br /> W. 36th Avenue (from West 76th Street to West 84th Street) Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) — City of
<br /> Hialeah, Florida; American Recovery& Reinvestment Act
<br /> Senior Roadway Inspector overseeing the reconstruction of West 36th Avenue from West 76th Street to West 84" Street
<br /> within the City of Hialeah. The general overview and scope for this project comprised of the complete reconstruction of West
<br /> 36th Avenue, including new sidewalk, curb and gutter, drainage improvements - new drainage inlets, 18" storm sewer cross
<br /> drainage pipe, 1,271 LF of 18" exfiltration trench (French drain). The project scope also included pavement milling and
<br /> resurfacing, signing and pavement markings, street lighting, tree removal, and grading of the adjacent swale areas and sod
<br /> restoration with Performance Turf. Project length: 0.5 miles
<br /> Emergency Water Main Repair—City of Pembroke Pines, Florida
<br /> Senior Inspector for the emergency repair of a 16" PVC transmission water main that ruptured along Pines Boulevard, east
<br /> of 145th Avenue in the City of Pembroke Pines. The project consisted of the replacement of 20 If. of a 16" PVC water main
<br /> with 16" DIP retrained sleeve pipe, fire hydrant installation for flushing and testing, backfill and compaction following FDOT
<br /> specifications. The project also included the removal and replacement of two driveways connecting a shopping center with
<br /> Pines Boulevard, striping and ADA sidewalk ramps. This project was executed as time and material, therefore a meticulous
<br /> tracking of all contractor activities and final cost estimates was required.
<br /> W. 53rd Street (from W. 8th Avenue to W. 12th Avenue) Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) — City of Hialeah,
<br /> Florida;American Recovery& Reinvestment Act
<br /> Roadway Inspector in charge of street reconstruction for West 53rd Street from West 8th Avenue to West 12th Avenue within
<br /> the City of Hialeah. The general overview and scope for this project comprises of the complete reconstruction of West 53rd
<br /> Street, including new sidewalk, curb &gutter, drainage improvements- new drainage inlets,18" storm sewer cross drainage
<br /> pipe, 18" exfiltration trench (French drain). Also, proposed in the project scope are pavement milling and resurfacing,

<br /> Senior Roadway Inspector on this Local Agency Program (LAP) project between the City of Pembroke Pines and the
<br /> Florida Department of Transportation, District 4. This is a federally funded project consisting of urbanized improvements at
<br /> the 1-75(SR-93) and Pines Boulevard (SR-820) Interchange The project includes modifying the existing interstate overpass,
<br /> entrance and exit ramps from a rural configuration to an urban configuration, as well as widening, signalization, landscaping
<br /> and access management Improvements along Pines Boulevard ($11.2 million). Project Length: 1.3 Miles.
