The CGA Team designed the complex to have 85,000 <br /> • square feet under roof, including a City fueling station, and will be designed to GBC LEED "silver" <br /> ® standards. This includes design criteria for water, sewer, roadways, parking lots, drainage, hardscape, <br /> ® landscape, and irrigation. The project is being bid as a design/build project with the 30% plans and <br /> criteria package. In addition, the overall City site includes approximately 30 acres of wetland <br /> ® mitigation as part of a permit issued by SFWMD, Broward County, and the Army Corps of Engineers to <br /> ® compensate for disturbed wetlands. In addition the upgrading of perimeter canals are being done. <br /> • Prepared the design criteria package for a new water and wastewater treatment plant ($120.0 mil). <br /> 0 Project consisted of facility siting, capacity requirement determination and preparation of Design <br /> ® Criteria package. Project acquired using the 2-stage engineer lead Design-Build method of delivery. <br /> 0 The CGA Team assisted the municipality with reviewing qualification of design/builders, assistance <br /> with award. The CGA Team was chosen to act as the as the Owner's Engineering Representative during <br /> ® construction. <br /> ® • Designed and coordinated construction of a $15.4 mil water treatment facility expansion. This project <br /> included a 12 MGD anion exchange system for color removal, 12 MGD of treatment unit capacity and 12 <br /> ® MGD filtration system capacity. Final permitted facility capacity was 16 MGD with 4 MGD of redundant <br /> ® treatment and filtration capacity. Was Engineer of Record and carried out all project management <br /> ® functions including coordination of project meetings, shop drawing reviews, inspections and approval <br /> of payment requests. Project was completed as a Contractor led Design/Build project. <br /> 0 <br /> • Designed and coordinated construction of a $14.2 mil wastewater treatment facility expansion. This <br /> I® Design/Build project included a permitted system capacity increase from 10.1 to 12.6 MGD (TMADF) <br /> ® with the addition of a 5th concrete Aeration Basin (approx 250' x 28') containing eight (8) cells, a 4th <br /> 100 ft diameter Secondary Clarifier, a 3rd 8000 gpm Injection Well Pump with appurtenances, RAS <br /> ® pumping system piping modifications, Upsizing of two (2) 200 HP Aeration Blowers to 500 HP each, the <br /> ® addition of a 5th 500 HP Aeration Blower, and conversion of four (4) existing Aeration cells and One (1) <br /> ® new Basin cell to Anoxic operation. Additional improvements include replacement/modernization of <br /> the existing Plant-Wide SCADA system. Was Engineer of Record and carried out all project <br /> j® management functions <br /> ® • Coordinated design of modifying an existing WWTP for aquifer recharge and reuse to gain CUP credits <br /> and meet existing WWTP permit requirements. Prepared a Pilot Study Protocol and Performance <br /> 0 Study. The Pilot Plant study of new treatment equipment included: Pilot plant and study design, <br /> ® Approval of Study by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Pilot plant study (6 <br /> ® months operation) including analytical testing. In addition, he supervised Treatment Plant Design and <br /> preparation of Design Build Documents. The Basis of design report (BODR) included: preparation of <br /> ® construction cost estimate, process design of new equipment, sizing of new equipment and piping, and <br /> ® siting of equipment. <br /> ® • Prepared a Neighborhood Improvement Plan for the Bonaventure area of the City of Weston which <br /> encompassed an area of 7.8 square mile. Some of the major items included landscaping/irrigation, <br /> 0 roadway improvements and drainage improvements. <br /> ® • Prepared the design criteria package for an ion exchange system and was owner's representative <br /> during construction( $1.5 mil) <br /> 0 <br /> • Prepare the design criteria package for an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system and was <br /> ® owner's representative during construction. ($5.0 mil) <br /> ® • Prepared consumptive water use permit applications, including the preparation of the reuse feasibility <br /> study, long-term water supply plan, water conservation plan and coordination of hydrogeological <br /> O modeling services. <br /> 0 <br /> O Page 3i 11 <br />
