Approach/Methodology 0hen Moore and Associates (CMA) has over 25 years of experience in providing consulting civil Cengineering, environmental engineering, landscape architecture and planning services for local • public sector clients throughout the State of Florida. Because of our extensive experience on municipal • projects (including neighborhood redevelopment/improvement, stormwater, water, sewer, roadway, ® due diligence, etc.) for public sector clients in Miami-Dade County, including projects for the Town of Miami Lakes, the City of Miami Gardens, the City of North Miami Beach, the City of Miami Beach, B the Village of Pinecrest and Miami Dade County, we have developed proven, efficient, cost effective • methods to deliver projects to our clients on time and within budget. We work as an extension of ® our clients' staff as a trusted advisor who is familiar with the technical aspects of a project and the regulatory/permitting requirements. We ® make sure that our staff is accessible to handle any client needs that arise during the project. ® The following details the approach that CMA intends to utilize for the successful completion of projects in civil and environmental engineering for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. ® Planning and Scope In the undertaking of any project, CMA understands the need to provide innovative and sustainable solutions. Paramount in completing a successful project on time and within budget is to clearly define ® the scope and goals. In defining the scope, following are some of the factors that will be considered: • Project goals,timeline and budget • • Any unique characteristics and considerations (resident/hotline complaint logs, special • characteristics,etc.) ® • Existing available information (available utility atlases,as-builts, operating reports,etc.) ■ Additional information that will need to be obtained (survey, geotechnical studies, traffic studies, • etc.) ■ Potential impacts of construction to: parking; bus routes; emergency access and vehicular flow; pedestrian routes;community events;existing utilities; etc. ■ Project stakeholders (affected residents, HOAs, public agencies,etc.) ® ■ Regulatory authorities having jurisdiction and permitting agencies ® • Project funding ■ Construction requirements and limitations ® At the outset of the project it is necessary to clearly define the scope and goals of the project. ® Experienced Proven Team The CMA Team has a long standing record of working successfully and effectively for municipal clients on • similar contracts.We currently hold over 35 continuing service contracts within Miami-Dade, Broward, O Monroe and Palm Beach Counties.
