PROJECT EXPERIENCE (CONT'D) <br /> Sun Splash Park Seawall Extension & Stormwater Design, City of Daytona Beach, FL — Project <br /> Manager/ Point-of-Contact Coordinated with County staff to construct a public friendly addition to an <br /> existing seawall and stormwater maintenance system. Reviewed project drawings for compliance with <br /> all environmental codes. Successfully completed permitting through DEP's Coastal Construction <br /> Control Line Division. <br /> Home Depot Stormwater Improvements, Palatka, FL — Project Manager. Responsible for design of <br /> 100 feet of spreader swale and 10 feet high concrete retaining wall for stormwater pond improvements. <br /> Project included coordination with St. Johns River Water Management District for permit modification to <br /> resolve an outstanding notice of non-compliance by the District. The project is now under compliance. <br /> Palatka Riverfront Park Improvements, Palatka, FL — Project Manager - Assisted prime consultant <br /> with all the water related structures; ramp, boat docking, marina, mitigation planning, geotechnical <br /> testing, permitting with FDEP and USACOE. DMC assisted the client with securing funds to leverage <br /> the development of the overall project. We assisted the client with estimating costs for various <br /> components of the project as part of the long term strategy to develop the project. <br /> Turkey Creek Middle-Reach Sump Project, City of Palm Bay, Brevard County, FL — Project <br /> Manager. Provided design to evaluate the potential of creating a sump within the residential canal to <br /> "trap" sediments originating from upstream locations of the creek and watershed. The intent of the <br /> design was to provide data for regulatory agency review and consideration to permit and implement the <br /> design. The project involved citizen, City, funding agency and regulatory agency coordination and <br /> meetings to identify public concerns and meet goals. Design was approved by City and regulatory <br /> agency and is currently in permitting phase. <br /> Turkey Creek Restoration Dredging Project, City of Palm Bay, FL — Project Manager. <br /> Characterized, determined, and evaluated the feasibility of removing 380,000 cubic yards of muck <br /> sediments to provide navigation and water quality improvements. Included permitting, public education, <br /> pipeline route evaluation and coordination with funding agencies, engineering, construction, technical <br /> specification and bid preparation, assist client with contractor selection and environmental monitoring <br /> and reporting. Additional work included application of innovative technologies such as hydrocyclone <br /> and belt-press dewatering to manage dredge sediment. <br /> Panama City Dredging and Seawall Projects, City of Panama City, FL — Project Manager. Overall <br /> project manager and coordinator. Identify engineering needs for City's dredging, seawall and shoreline <br /> protection at four sites. Prepare permits or qualify projects for exemption from permitting and all aquatic <br /> and shoreline vegetation assessments. Provide dredge templates, prepare technical specification and <br /> bid documents. <br /> B-23 Canal Dredging and Seawall Replacement (sub to Quentin L. Hampton), City of Port <br /> Orange, FL — Dredging Consultant/Project Manager. Coordinated evaluation of seawalls and cost <br /> estimation of work required to complete engineering design, permitting, technical specification <br /> preparation, bidding assistance and construction administration services as well as project construction <br /> for funding. Assist Prime consultant to handle all aspects of engineering and permitting of 30,000 CY <br /> dredging and 5,000 linear feet of seawall replacement along canal. Address stormwater and drainage <br /> issues from uplands. Public and City Council meetings, presentations and updates. Collected <br /> necessary environmental and sediment data. <br />
