Also, <br /> developed sampling plan to capture sediments of various composition and possible chemistry that <br /> could impact permitting and material processing, dewatering and management. <br /> Stevenson Creek Sediment Characterization & Removal Feasibility Study, City of Clearwater, <br /> Pinellas County, FL — Project Manager. Characterized, determined, and evaluated the feasibility of <br /> removing 127,000 cubic yards of sediments to provide water quality and some navigation <br /> improvements. In addition, the project included identifying additional funding sources, identifying <br /> potential disposal sites, best option and cost .for removal of sediments. Currently assisting City to <br /> coordinate engineering efforts with USACOE (Jacksonville District) to implement project. <br /> Daytona Beach Pier Assessment, City of Daytona Beach, FL — Project Manager. Evaluated the <br /> underside of the historic Daytona Pier. The objective of our task was to determine the structural <br /> strength of the existing pier pilings and hardware and the level of deterioration and corrosion to <br /> recommend additional support. The structure was evaluate to withstand Hurricane Category 2 wind and <br /> wave forces. The project has been armored and the new above deck facility (restaurant) in almost <br /> complete. <br />
