® PROJECT EXPERIENCE (CONT'D)
Canal Conveyance Capacity Program Phase 1, South Florida Water Management District — Field
reconnaissance of 45 miles of canals for conveyance capacity. Report writing on feasibility and cost
estimate to dredge and repair areas of concern discovered during field reconnaissance. Assess all
canal wetland and vegetation impacts.
Canal Conveyance Capacity Program Phase 2, South Florida Water Management District -
Assessment of approximately 5 miles of existing G-16 drainage canal for the SFWMD Canal
Conveyance Capacity Program in Broward County. Reviewed as-built plans and surveyed the entire
canal right-of-way including: documentation of existing conditions, focusing on areas of potential canal
bank erosion and failure, outfall pipe and structure replacement needs and sediment accumulation
mapping within the canal. Completed water quality and sediment testing for both physical and chemical
parameters. The chemical parameters included metals, nutrients, pesticides, herbicides, PAHs, Oil and
Grease, specific conductance and pH. Also provided a Final report documenting all the conditions,
findings and recommendations for repair and associated costs.
Dredge Material Disposal Site Assessments, St. Lucie County, FL — Ecologist. Assessed seven
upland sites as potential temporary and permanent sediment disposal areas. Sites were evaluated for
environmental resources, threatened and endangered species (including scrub jays and gopher
tortoises), engineering practicality, and proximity to dredge project. Coordinated with the county's
environmental, public works, and airport staff as well as with state and federal regulatory agencies.
Taylor Creek Emergency Shoreline Stabilization, St. Lucie County, FL — Project Manager,
Ecologist, Onsite Inspector. Completed Permitting through DEP, ACOE, and SFWMD. Coordinated all
necessary survey and geotechnical work. Inspected construction and ensured project completion
within NRCS grant timeline. Assisted with as-built review, materials confirmation, and contract
closeout.
Taylor Creek Restoration Dredging and Shoreline Stabilization, Phase 2 & 3, St. Lucie County,
FL — Dredging and Shoreline Stabilization of SFWMD diversion canal. Assisted with all biological and
ecological assessments, including threatened and endangered species, particularly seagrasses,
mangroves, gopher tortoise survey and relocation, scrub jay survey and endangered plant survey.
Assessed 7 separate parcels for spoil site location. Coordinated with FDEP, ACOE, SFWMD, and FWC
to obtain permits. Prepared and conducted pre-bid and pre-construction meetings and construction
inspections.
Anclote River Maintenance Dredging, City of Tarpon Springs, FL—Onsite Inspector. Prepared and
implemented environmental compliance plan, turbidity monitoring and daily inspection. Created weekly
reports for compliance with regulatory agencies and County. Coordinated work with City staff and Client
(Contractor)
Summerall Park Boat Ramp and Park Improvements, City of Tavares, FL — Ecologist- Completed
resource survey, sediment sampling and analyses, mitigation plan, and environmental permitting.
Wooton Park Boat Ramp Extension Dredging, City of Tavares, FL — Project Ecologist. Completed
successful time sensitive Environmental Resource Permitting. Assisted in assessing the shoreline
vegetation along with sampling and evaluation of resources within the channel template to be dredged
along boat ramp.
