® PROJECT EXPERIENCE (CONT'D) <br /> Reed Canal Access Channel, Halifax River (ICW), City of South Daytona, FL — Project to create <br /> navigation access channel. Assisted with environmental resource permitting, conducted <br /> physicochemical sampling of water, sediment,, and benthic community. Assisted in dredging <br /> methodology and potential disposal/offload site development. Prepared grant applications, cost <br /> estimates, and project presentations. <br /> Lake Rowell Sediment Core Sampling, Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission, Lake Rowell, <br /> FL — Ecologist. Complete chemical and physical sampling to a depth of fifteen feet below sediment <br /> surface throughout a 350 acre lake in compliance with FDEP Sediment Sampling Standard Operating <br /> Procedures. <br /> Sunplash Park Seawall Extension, Volusia County, FL — Project Manager/Ecologist. Coordination <br /> with County staff to construct a public friendly addition to an existing seawall and stormwater <br /> maintenance system. Reviewed project drawings for compliance with all environmental codes. <br /> Successfully completed permitting through DEP's Coastal Construction Control Line Division. <br /> Square Lake/East Slough Restoration Project, Palm Beach County — Onsite Inspector. Created <br /> and implemented environmental compliance plan, turbidity monitoring, notification and daily reporting to <br /> regulatory agencies. <br /> Panama City Dredging and Seawall Projects, Panama City FL — Project Ecologist - This project <br /> involved field data collection and dredge plan design in relation to submerged and shoreline vegetation. <br /> Assisted with plant identification in water and uplands as well as permitting. Assisted with Bid document <br /> ® preparation and review. Reviewed project drawings and assisted with permit responses pertaining to <br /> ecological issues. <br /> B-23 Canal Dredging and Seawall Repair, City of Port Orange, FL — Project Manager. Successful <br /> Environmental Resource Permitting through DEP and ACOE. Prepared detailed cost estimates for <br /> different methods of dredging and seawall replacement. Conducted presentations and directed <br /> meetings with City Staff, City Commissioners, and Concerned Citizens to inform and provide options. <br /> Coordinated cooperation between City, Florida Inland Navigation District, and Army Corps to provide <br /> the most cost effective dredging solution. <br /> Causeway Park & Public Shoreline Stabilization, City of Port Orange, FL— Ecologist/Project <br /> Manager. Provided environmental resource permitting review, site assessment, bid document <br /> preparation, coordination with regulatory agencies and funding agencies such as DCA. Oversaw and <br /> inspected all construction and acted as liaison between contractor and City. Conducted interviews and <br /> fulfilled requirements of Davis-Bacon Act. <br /> City of Port Orange Parks & Public Shoreline Protection, City of Port Orange, FL — Project <br /> Manager/ Ecologist - Shoreline stabilization and armoring of city parks. Evaluated 23 sites for potential <br /> ecological impacts. Completed environmental resource permitting through FDEP, SJRWMD, AND <br /> ACOE. Assisted with construction inspection and reporting. Involved in Bid preparation, Pre-bid <br /> meeting, Grant compliance, and Contractor Coordination. This project included the B-23 Canal. <br /> Waterways & Canals Dredging, City of Port St. Lucie, FL — Project Manager/Ecologist. Assessment <br /> of 11 residential canals connected to the St. Lucie River North Fork (an aquatic preserve) for dredging <br /> feasibility. Completed all sediment sampling, shoreline and submerged aquatic vegetation surveys, <br /> dock and seawall condition surveys, and successful Environmental Resource Permitting through DEP <br /> and ACOE. Coordinated hydrographic and upland surveys. Complete Dock and Seawall condition <br /> survey. Assisted in dredging methodology and potential disposal/offload site development. <br />
